Your privacy at Yappigo

Yappigo is built for families who want one private place for pet health, daily care and favourite memories. Together North Inc. operates Yappigo and is responsible for protecting the information entrusted to us.
What we collect
- Your email address and the profile information you choose to add
- Pet profiles, health records, medications, appointments and care instructions
- Photos, videos, reminders and shared tasks
- Information about the family members or caregivers you invite
- Optional location information, only when you grant permission
- Technical information such as app performance and crash reports
- Payment records for optional ad removal or future marketplace services, with full card details handled by the payment provider
Private by default
Your pet profiles and family circles will be private by default. You decide who can see information about each pet. You can also provide temporary access to a trusted caregiver or sitter.
How we use information
We use information to operate Yappigo, secure your account, organize pet care, deliver reminders, support the people you invite and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information or your content.
Who helps us operate Yappigo
Trusted providers may process only the information needed to run Yappigo. These providers currently include Supabase for authentication and storage, Stripe or an app store provider for payments, Sentry for crash reports and Expo for notifications.
How long we keep information
Account information, pet profiles and media are generally kept until you delete your account. Routine analytics and technical logs are generally kept for up to 90 days. Some payment records may need to be kept for up to seven years to meet tax and legal requirements.

- Request a copy of your information
- Withdraw optional consent
- Change location and notification permissions
- Delete your account and associated personal information
Account deletion will be available directly inside the app and through the My Account portal when it launches. Certain limited records may be kept when the law requires it.
Language and cookies
The website uses a necessary cookie or similar browser storage to remember whether you chose English or French. Optional analytics or advertising cookies that require consent will not be activated without that consent.
